My sweet friend Sonja demonstrated how to make homemade dog food at an event this weekend, and she sent home with me the results and the recipe. I warmed up the stew and served it over a bit of dry kibble to my two dogs and two fosters who are with me until we can find a forever home. They lapped it up.

They lapped it up. Can you say "Food Coma?"

The main ingredients in the recipe are turkey and pumpkin. I know exactly how they feel. It wasn't too long we celebrated Thanksgiving with copious amounts of both and with similar results.
Thank you Sonja!!
