How very true. My mind goes back to some very special old dogs who loved my family and me... We were indeed blessed. It brings tears to my eyes.

I love old photos--the dog is looking into the camera but the man is not! Reminds me of the quote--"someday I hope to be the person my dog thinks I am" :) Thanks for sharing this!
